Coventry & Leamington: Beginners & Intermediates Badminton Coaching

In association with Leamington Badminton Club and Coventry Badminton Club.

Coming up on Saturday 24th November in Coventry is some fun, friendly and informal badminton coaching aimed at beginners and intermediate players.

All players are welcome, total beginners will be well looked after, and improving players will be able to enhance their skills. All the equipment needed is provided, and you will even be able to borrow a racquet if you don't have one. Just wear some comfortable clothes and trainers.

A number of experienced players (including Warwickshire County) will be on hand to demonstrate the correct back-hand grip, teach you a flick serve and perfect your overhead clears. Intermediate players will be able to fine-tune their smash, improve upon their tumbling net shots and improve their tactical understanding of the game.

The end of the session will include a small 'tournament' for players to practice and perfect what they've learnt during the day. We'll then cap off all our hard work with a drink in the bar afterwards.

It will be held at XCEL Centre, Mitchell Avenue, Coventry, CV4 8DY on Saturday 24th November, 11am to 2pm.
